At Thrive 360 Living, our Indigenous Support Program is designed to provide respectful, culturally responsive, and person-centered support for Indigenous individuals and families. We recognize the importance of identity, culture, community, family connection, and holistic wellbeing in the support process.
Our approach is grounded in dignity, respect, listening, and relationship-building. We understand that support must go beyond daily tasks. It must also honour the individual’s background, lived experience, values, community connections, and personal goals.
We work alongside individuals and families to provide practical support, encouragement, advocacy, and guidance in a way that respects culture, strengthens confidence, and promotes meaningful participation in everyday life.
What We Support
Our Indigenous Support Program may include:
Culturally Respectful Support
We provide support that respects the individual’s identity, values, traditions, family structure, and personal preferences. We take time to listen, understand, and provide care in a way that feels safe and respectful.
Community Connection and Advocacy
We assist individuals in connecting with community resources, cultural supports, Indigenous organizations, appointments, programs, and services that may support their wellbeing and long-term goals.
Life Skills and Goal Planning
We help individuals build practical skills for daily living, independence, communication, budgeting, routine development, decision-making, and personal responsibility. Goals are created with the individual, not for the individual.
Wellness and Emotional Support
We support emotional wellbeing through encouragement, consistency, positive routines, healthy coping strategies, and access to appropriate community resources where needed.
Family-Centered Guidance
We recognize the importance of family and natural supports. Where appropriate, we work with families, caregivers, guardians, workers, and support networks to promote stability, communication, and shared understanding.
Safe, Compassionate Care
We provide support in a calm, respectful, and non-judgmental way. Our goal is to create an environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported.
Our Approach
Our approach is relationship-based, culturally sensitive, and person-centered. We understand that trust takes time. That is why we focus on building respectful relationships, communicating clearly, and supporting individuals at their own pace.
We also understand that each person’s connection to culture may look different. Some individuals may be strongly connected to community, ceremony, language, or cultural practices. Others may be exploring identity, reconnecting with culture, or simply needing support that respects their background and lived experience.
At Thrive 360 Living, we do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. We work with each individual to understand what support feels meaningful, respectful, and helpful to them.

Why Cultural Connection Matters
Culture, identity, family, and community can play an important role in healing, confidence, belonging, and personal growth. When support respects who a person is, it can help build trust, strengthen self-worth, and create better outcomes.
Our goal is to support the whole person: their daily needs, their goals, their relationships, their wellbeing, and their sense of belonging.
